Getting Started with the AI Agent
The Latch AI Agent is your intelligent assistant for property management tasks, available directly within the app.
Accessing the Agent
- Click AI Agent in the sidebar.
- The chat interface opens where you can type messages or questions.
What the Agent Can Do
- Answer questions about your portfolio, properties, tenants, payments, and expenses.
- Chase rent by identifying overdue payments and drafting chase emails.
- Analyse documents to extract key information from uploaded files.
- Create maintenance tickets from descriptions you provide.
- Generate reports on demand.
- Find information across your entire portfolio quickly.
How It Works
The AI Agent has access to your portfolio data (properties, leases, payments, expenses, contacts) and uses this to provide contextual, accurate responses.
Example Questions
- "Which tenants have overdue rent this month?"
- "What is the total value of my portfolio?"
- "Show me all maintenance tickets for 10 High Street."
- "What expenses have I recorded this quarter?"
- "Draft a rent chase email for John Smith."
Privacy
The AI Agent only accesses data within your Latch account. Your data is not shared with other users or used to train AI models.
Tip: The more data you have in Latch (properties, payments, expenses), the more useful the AI Agent becomes.
