Maintenance History
Latch keeps a complete record of all maintenance tickets, providing valuable insights into your property's upkeep.
Accessing History
- Click Maintenance in the sidebar.
- Use the status filter to include Completed and Closed tickets.
Filtering Options
- Property — View maintenance history for a specific property or unit.
- Status — Filter by any combination of statuses.
- Date Range — Look at tickets from a specific period.
- Priority — Filter by emergency, urgent, or routine.
- Contractor — View all tickets assigned to a specific contractor.
- Category — Filter by repair type (plumbing, electrical, etc.).
Maintenance Costs
Each completed ticket can have a final cost recorded. The maintenance history view shows:
- Total maintenance spend for the selected period and properties.
- Cost per property breakdown.
- Most expensive categories to identify recurring issues.
Using History for Decisions
Maintenance history helps you:
- Identify properties that need significant investment.
- Spot recurring issues that may indicate a larger problem.
- Evaluate contractor performance and costs.
- Budget for future maintenance.
