Rent Roll Report
The rent roll is one of the most important reports for any landlord, showing the status of all rental income across your portfolio.
Generating the Report
- Go to Reports in the sidebar.
- Select Rent Roll.
- Choose the date range (typically current month or quarter).
- Optionally filter by property to view a subset.
- Click Generate.
What the Report Shows
For each active lease, the rent roll displays:
- Property / Unit — Where the lease is.
- Tenant — Who is renting.
- Monthly Rent — The contracted rent amount.
- Payments Received — Total received in the selected period.
- Outstanding — Any shortfall between rent due and received.
- Status — Paid, Partial, or Overdue.
Summary Section
At the top, the report includes:
- Total Rent Due — Sum of all rent expected.
- Total Received — Sum of all payments.
- Collection Rate — Percentage of rent collected.
- Arrears — Total outstanding balance.
Exporting
Click Export to download as PDF (formatted for printing) or CSV (for spreadsheets).
Tip: Generate a rent roll at the start of each month to quickly identify which tenants have not yet paid.
