Exporting to PDF and CSV
Every report in Latch can be exported for sharing with accountants, lenders, or for your own records.
How to Export
- Generate any report (Rent Roll, P&L, Custom, etc.).
- Click the Export button in the top right.
- Select your format:
- PDF — Formatted document with branding, ready for printing or emailing.
- CSV — Raw data in spreadsheet format for further analysis.
PDF Options
When exporting to PDF, you can choose:
- Orientation — Portrait or landscape.
- Include Charts — Whether to include visual charts in the PDF.
- Include Summary — Whether to include the summary section.
CSV Format
The CSV export includes:
- All data columns visible in the report.
- One row per record.
- UTF-8 encoding for compatibility with Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software.
Using Exports
Common use cases:
- Accountant — Send the P&L CSV for tax preparation.
- Mortgage Application — Provide a rent roll PDF to your lender.
- Year-End Records — Archive annual reports as PDFs.
- Data Analysis — Import CSV into Excel for custom analysis.
Tip: Export reports as both PDF and CSV — PDF for human reading, CSV for further analysis or import into other systems.
