Using Inventory Templates
Templates speed up inventory creation by providing pre-populated room and item lists for common property types.
Available Templates
- Studio Flat — Single room with kitchen area and bathroom.
- 1-Bed Flat — Bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway.
- 2-Bed House — Two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, garden.
- 3-Bed House — Three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, hallway, garden, garage.
- HMO Room — Single room with en-suite.
- Furnished Property — Includes furniture items (sofa, beds, tables, etc.).
- Unfurnished Property — Focus on fixtures and fittings only.
Using a Template
- When creating a new inventory report, click Use Template.
- Select the template that best matches your property.
- The rooms and items are pre-populated.
- Add, remove, or edit items to match the actual property.
- Fill in conditions and add photos.
Creating Custom Templates
- Go to Settings > Inventory Templates.
- Click Create Template.
- Add rooms and items.
- Name the template.
- Click Save.
Your custom template appears alongside the built-in ones when creating new reports.
Editing Templates
Edit existing templates at any time from Settings. Changes do not affect previously created reports.
Tip: Create a custom template for each of your property types — this makes future inventories faster and more consistent.
