Understanding the Dashboard
The dashboard is your home screen in Latch. It gives you a snapshot of your entire portfolio at a glance.
Dashboard Sections
Portfolio Summary
At the top you will see key metrics:
- Total Properties — The number of active properties in your account.
- Monthly Income — Total expected rent across all active leases.
- Occupancy Rate — Percentage of units with active tenants.
- Overdue Payments — Number of rent payments that are past due.
Upcoming Events
A timeline of upcoming events including:
- Rent due dates.
- Lease start and end dates.
- Compliance certificate expiry dates.
Recent Activity
A feed of recent actions taken in the account, such as:
- Payments recorded.
- Maintenance tickets created or updated.
- Documents uploaded.
Quick Actions
Buttons for common tasks:
- Add Property
- Record Payment
- Create Ticket
- Generate Report
Customising the Dashboard
Currently the dashboard layout is fixed, but you can filter the activity feed by property or date range.
Tip: Check your dashboard daily to stay on top of overdue payments and upcoming lease renewals.
