Linking Contacts to Properties
Contacts are linked to properties through specific features rather than a direct assignment.
How Links Work
Tenants
Tenants are linked to properties through leases. When you create a lease on a property and add a tenant, that creates the link.
Contractors
Contractors are linked to properties through maintenance tickets. Assigning a contractor to a ticket on a property creates the association.
Suppliers
Suppliers are linked through expenses. When you record an expense on a property and specify a supplier, the link is established.
Viewing Links
From a contact's detail page, you can see all properties they are associated with.
From a property's detail page, you can see all contacts linked through leases, tickets, and expenses.
Creating Links
There is no need to manually link contacts to properties. The connections are created automatically when you:
- Add a tenant to a lease.
- Assign a contractor to a maintenance ticket.
- Record an expense from a supplier.
Tip: The AI agent understands these relationships, so you can ask questions like "Which contractors have worked on 10 High Street?" and get accurate answers.
