The AI Agent can analyse documents you have uploaded to Latch, extracting key information and answering questions about their content.

Analysing a Document

1. Open the AI Agent chat.
2. Mention the document: "Analyse the lease agreement for 10 High Street."
3. The Agent reads the document and provides:
   • A summary of the key points.
   • Extracted data such as dates, amounts, and party names.
   • Important clauses highlighted for your attention.

What the Agent Can Extract

• Lease Agreements — Start/end dates, rent amount, break clauses, deposit amount, tenant obligations.
• Insurance Policies — Cover type, premium, excess, renewal date.
• Certificates — Issue date, expiry date, engineer/inspector details.
• Invoices — Amount, supplier, description, payment terms.
• Correspondence — Key requests, deadlines, action items.

Asking Questions About Documents

After analysis, you can ask follow-up questions:

• "What is the break clause in this lease?"
• "When does this insurance policy renew?"
• "What were the EICR findings?"

Saving Extracted Data

The Agent can apply extracted data to your property records:

• "Save the expiry date from this gas certificate to the property."
• "Update the lease rent amount based on this renewal letter."
