How to change your password and reset it if forgotten.

Changing Your Password
Regularly updating your password helps keep your account secure.
Changing Your Password
- Go to Settings > Security.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your current password.
- Enter your new password (must meet the password requirements).
- Confirm the new password.
- Click Update Password.
Password Requirements
Your new password must:
- Be at least 8 characters long.
- Contain at least one uppercase letter.
- Contain at least one number.
- Be different from your current password.
Forgotten Password
If you have forgotten your password:
- Go to the Latch login page.
- Click Forgot Password.
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email.
- Click the reset link.
- Enter and confirm your new password.
- Log in with your new password.
Reset Link Issues
- The link expires after 1 hour.
- Check spam/junk if you do not receive the email.
- Only the most recent reset link is valid.
Session Management
After changing your password:
- All other devices are automatically signed out.
- You remain signed in on the current device.
Tip: Use a password manager to generate and store strong, unique passwords — this is the most effective way to secure your account.
