Adding and Editing Units
Units represent individual lettable spaces within a multi-unit property.
Adding a Unit
- Open the property detail page.
- Scroll to the Units section.
- Click Add Unit.
- Fill in the unit details (name, bedrooms, bathrooms, floor, size).
- Click Save.
Editing a Unit
- Click on the unit you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button.
- Update the relevant fields.
- Click Save Changes.
Removing a Unit
- Click on the unit.
- Click Delete Unit.
- Confirm the deletion.
Note: You cannot delete a unit that has an active lease. End the lease first, then delete the unit.
Unit Status
Units can be in one of these states:
- Occupied — An active lease is linked to the unit.
- Vacant — No active lease. The unit is available for letting.
- Maintenance — The unit is undergoing maintenance and not available.
The property overview shows a summary of unit statuses so you can quickly see your occupancy.
Tip: Keeping unit details accurate helps generate correct rent roll reports and occupancy metrics.
