Creating a Property Listing

When you have a vacant property or unit, create a listing to advertise it to prospective tenants.

Steps

1. Go to Marketplace in the sidebar.
2. Click Create Listing.
3. Select the property (or unit) you want to list.
4. Fill in the listing details:
   • Title — An attractive headline (e.g. "Spacious 2-Bed Flat in City Centre").
   • Description — A detailed description of the property, its features, and the local area.
   • Rent — The monthly rent amount.
   • Deposit — Required deposit amount.
   • Available From — When the property is available.
   • Minimum Term — Minimum lease length (e.g. 12 months).
5. Add photos — Upload multiple high-quality images.
6. Select features — Parking, garden, pet-friendly, furnished, etc.
7. Click Save Draft or Publish.

Writing a Great Description

• Lead with the best features.
• Mention transport links and local amenities.
• Include practical details (council tax band, utility costs).
• Be honest about any limitations.

Photos

• Use landscape orientation.
• Include all rooms, exterior, and any special features.
• Good lighting makes a significant difference.

Tip: Properties with 8+ photos and detailed descriptions receive significantly more enquiries than those with minimal information.
