Document Actions and Workflows
Latch provides several actions you can take on documents beyond simple storage.
Available Actions
Download
Click the Download button to save a copy of the document to your device.
Share
- Click Share on any document.
- Enter the recipient's email address.
- Optionally add a message.
- Click Send.
The recipient receives an email with a secure link to view the document.
Click Print to open the document in your browser's print dialog. This works for PDFs and images.
Send to Tenant or Contractor
- Click Send To.
- Select a contact from your directory.
- The document is sent to their email address with a secure viewing link.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple documents using the checkboxes, then:
- Download All — Downloads a zip file containing all selected documents.
- Move — Move all selected documents to a folder.
- Label — Apply a label to all selected documents.
- Delete — Remove all selected documents.
Document Versions
When you upload a new version of an existing document, Latch keeps the previous version available. Click Version History to see and access older versions.
Tip: Use the Share feature to send compliance certificates directly to tenants when required by law.
