Archiving a Property
When you sell a property or stop managing it, you can archive it rather than deleting it. This preserves all historical data while removing it from your active views.
How to Archive
- Go to the property detail page.
- Click the more options menu (three dots).
- Select Archive Property.
- Confirm the action.
What Happens When You Archive
- The property no longer appears in your main properties list.
- All historical data (payments, expenses, leases, documents) is preserved.
- Reports can still include archived properties by selecting the appropriate filter.
- The property does not count toward your active property limit.
Viewing Archived Properties
To see archived properties, go to Properties and toggle the Show Archived filter.
Restoring an Archived Property
- View the archived property.
- Click the more options menu.
- Select Restore Property.
- The property will reappear in your active list.
Tip: Always archive rather than delete — you may need historical records for tax purposes or legal disputes.
