How to filter, search, and review past expenses across your portfolio.

Viewing Expense History
The Expenses section provides a complete record of all property costs across your portfolio.
Accessing Expense History
- Click Expenses in the sidebar.
- The main view shows all recorded expenses sorted by date (newest first).
Filtering Options
Use the filter controls to narrow your view:
- Date Range — View expenses for a specific period (e.g. current tax year).
- Property — Filter by a specific property or unit.
- Category — Show only certain expense types (e.g. repairs).
- Supplier — View expenses from a specific supplier.
- Amount Range — Find expenses within a specific cost range.
- Receipt Status — Show only expenses with or without receipts attached.
Searching
The search bar lets you find expenses by description, supplier name, or category.
Expense Summary
At the top of the page, a summary bar shows:
- Total Expenses for the selected period.
- Breakdown by Category as a bar or pie chart.
- Month-over-Month Comparison to spot trends.
Exporting
Click Export to download your expense history as a CSV or PDF file. This is useful for sharing with your accountant or importing into accounting software.
Tip: Export expense history at the end of each tax year and store it alongside your tax return for your records.
